A Data Protection Officer has not been appointed because this is not necessary according to the applicable law.
 
 
There are different purposes for procession of data: 
a. Location Guide: providing information (pictures) about possible locations to the public
b. Production Guide: providing information about the film branch to the public
c. Support for applicants for film permits
d. Marketing: to increase the degree of popularity
e. Newsletter: periodical information to subscribers
f. Use of pictures in print media and the internet

Legitimate interest (marketing and use of pictures)
It is the responsibility of the controller to promote the film location Vienna through the publication of own services (legitimate interest). In marketing and use of pictures, the interests of the persons displayed will be taken into consideration.
 
Consent (newsletter and use of pictures)
 
 
Categories of receivers (that are processors on behalf of the controller or in a contractual relationship)
Companies that service the IT-systems, including the website or software and take care of IT-security; grantors, tax consultant or auditor, lawyer, finance department or other public authorities
 
 
Categories of receivers (that pursue their own purposes, separated by processing operations)
a. Data from the Location Guide will be displayed to the public and can be accessed by persons that are looking for locations. After receipt of an email with the location number the interested person will be provided with the actual data. The interested person will eventually contact without any further involvement of the controller the person, that has been disclosed to the interested person. 
b. Data in the Production Guide are entered by registered users. The data base is searchable by the public and serves the purpose that companies of the film branch can find potential contractual partners for the cooperation in film projects. 
c. A form for requesting a filming permit can be completed. The data will be submitted to the competent authorities and bodies and any reaction will be provided to the applicant. The controller is only taking part as an intermediary.
 
 
Receiver in third countries or international organizations  
A transfer to receivers in third counties (outside of the EU) or to international organizations is not intended.
The data of a. and b. are displayed on the internet and freely accessible. Data from a. will be sent by email after request; if the receiver is from a third country or a country with absence of an adequacy decision, the transfer will be made on the basis of standard contract clauses that will need to be confirmed before the sending of the email.
 
 
Storing period 
The contractual basis is a long term relationship. The data will be stored during the contract duration, if the user does not delete it. The data will be stored for a period of 7 years starting from the end of the business year in which the contract has ended (statutory storage period).
Data in connection with the newsletter and marketing will be deleted three years after the last contact.

Obligation to provide the data 
There is no obligation for the data to be disclosed. If the data is not disclosed, performance by the controller cannot be rendered.
 
 
Profiling / automated decision-making
The controller does not process data for profiling. An automated decision-making does not exist.
