Brunnenmarkt

Brunnenmarkt, with around 160 market stalls, is the largest permanent street retail market in Europe, and the cheapest market in Vienna. He is in the Brunnenstrasse (16th destrict) and is also called "Orient around the corner" because of its colorful and multi-cultural ambience. In 2009, the former Yppenmarkt is merged with the Brunnenmarkt and this northern part of the market, the Yppanplatz became a place of cultural encounters. A necessary renovation and modernization of both, the infrastructure and the newly created pedestrian zone, was completed in 2010.
