The second digital industry evening of the Vienna Film Commission took place in cooperation with the Municipal Department Vienna Water (MA 31). Astrid Rompolt, Head of the Public Relations and Communications Department of MA 31, informed the participants about requirements and recommendations for filming on the premises and real estate of Vienna Water.

Vienna Water's portfolio includes numerous aqueducts, the spring protection areas in Lower Austria and Styria, the outdoor facilities of the more than 30 water reservoirs in Vienna, the water tower in Favoriten with the water playground and the 1100 fountains of the City of Vienna. The brick office building of MA 31 and the adjacent modern office building with a completely green facade, the drinking water power plants and the photovoltaic system on the Unterlaa water reservoir can also be used for filming.

The spring protection area of MA 31 includes areas on the Rax, the Schneeberg, the Schneealpe and the Hochschwab which are managed in cooperation with the Municipal Department for Forestry and Agriculture of the City of Vienna (MA 49). The mountain and forest areas at the origin of the first and second viennese Mountain Spring Pipeline, especially the Höllental, as well as the entire route of the water pipelines impress with a variety of natural settings.

The top priority for filming on the premises of Vienna Water is always the safety of Vienna's water supply and the associated hygiene regulations.
