Marko Feingold, born in 1913, grew up in Vienna's district Leopoldstadt. In 1938 he was arrested shortly after the annexation of Austria by the Nazis. He survived the concentration camps Auschwitz, Neuengamme, Dachau and Buchenwald, where he was interned until the liberation in 1945. His memories of the most inhumane era are a warning from the past to future generations.
