Mona remains silent despite sexual assaults by her supervisor, for fear of losing her job as the head of a small municipality. Only when she has no other choice does she go public about her supervisor’s assaults. The perpetrator—the town’s mayor—then begins to bully her and push her out of her professional circle. A victim-blaming dynamic sets in, isolating Mona more and more. But she doesn’t give up and keeps fighting: against injustice, for the truth, for herself, and for her son. Will her courage be enough to achieve justice, or are the forces against her too overwhelming?
