About us
The Vienna Film Commission is the first point of contact for national and international film productions in Vienna.
Our tasks include, in particular, providing support in obtaining filming permits and coordinating communication between the city administration—the Vienna City Council—and the film industry. We accompany productions throughout the entire approval process.
In addition, we assist in the search for suitable filming locations and local service partners. As representatives of the film industry, we are actively involved in lobbying and positioning Vienna internationally as an attractive filming and production location in order to provide sustainable impetus for a strong and resilient film industry in the city.
