Louna and Nico have exposed the Dardenne Corporation’s schemes to the public. By taking this courageous step, Nico has distanced himself from his family and declared his support for Louna. They wanted to start over together, but at the end of the first season, Louna finds Nico lying on the ground, shot.

Nico himself is severely impaired by the gunshot wound and ashamed of his vulnerability. What if he never fully recovers? As Nico hits rock bottom, Louna is the only one who recognizes his true condition and must ask herself whether she can protect him from himself—as a girlfriend or as a bodyguard.
