Tirolerblut - Ein tiefer Fall

After a year traveling around the world, Anna Gruber returns to her family at the Gruberhof in Tyrol. Unlike her grandfather Hannes, her mother Fanny, and her brother Tobi, Anna has no ambitions to join the police force. Her homecoming is not without its worries: her best friend Clara died in an accident four months ago—under highly dubious circumstances.

While Anna shares memories with Clara's completely devastated father, tragedy strikes another Tyrolean family: Emily, the daughter of the rich and powerful real estate manager Renner, is kidnapped. The kidnappers make strange demands: in addition to an astonishingly low ransom, they want internal documents from Renner's company.

It's a mystery for the police team led by Inspector Fanny Gruber. But Fanny soon realizes that Renner isn't playing with an open hand. What is he hiding? And is there a connection to the mysterious death of Anna's friend Clara in the offices of Renner's company?
