The Blutgasse district is one of the oldest areas in Vienna's city center. In the 1960s, it underwent extensive renovation and revitalization. Historic building complexes from the 18th and 19th centuries and older are clustered around Blutgasse, which is designed as a pedestrian zone. The street is paved with cobblestones throughout and is ideal for historical settings.
