The former Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory of the City of Vienna, opened in 1914, is a listed building that was transformed into a unique event, exhibition and creative location by the Markterei team in 2024. Since autumn 2024, the first floor hall transforms into a market hall every Friday and Saturday, offering regional producers a stage for their seasonal products. In addition to regular market hall operations, thematic focuses are set through events, special formats, workshops, networking and B2B events to round off the overall experience. The premises can be hired for shooting films and videos, events, company parties and private celebrations. A 479 m² market hall, a 180 m² courtyard and an 80 m² workshop are available.
