The open ceramics studio is located on Volkertplatz in the 2nd district. The workspace is a genuine, functioning studio: comfortable workstations for modeling, electric pottery wheels, tools, glazes, and engobes, as well as kilns, define the space. Amid shelves of raw clay pieces and finished works, clay dust, and workbenches, a creative, artisanal atmosphere emerges, reflecting the typical character of an old building—high ceilings, natural light, and a vibrant workshop vibe. As a filming location, the studio offers a setting for scenes involving crafts, art, and studio work, as well as workshops or portraits of creative work. The combination of historic architecture and a functional workshop provides many visual layers and props “right out of the box.” The open floor plan allows plenty of room for camera movement.
