Amerlingstraße connects Gumpendorfer Straße with Mariahilfer Straße in the sixth district. The almost completely straight street is lined on both sides with well-preserved, medium-height buildings from the Gründerzeit period. Only the Amerlinggymnasium stands out from the ensemble with its 1970s architecture. Also worth mentioning are the bay windows and balconies that stand out from the facades.
