Gentzgasse runs from Gürtel to Gersthofer Straße with the Vorortelinie, crossing the district of Währing. The street is lined with numerous 19th-century residential buildings, as well as more modern structures from the second half of the 20th century. At the intersection with Martinsstraße and Gymnasiumstraße, the 18th district's administrative building, a German Renaissance-style structure, is located on the left-hand side. At Aumannplatz, Währinger Straße and Gentzgasse converge closely. At the same time, Norbert Liebermann Park, the only large green space along the street, is located there. The historicist St. Carolus Home dominates the north side of the square. Further out of town, the street widens into a square-like space in the area of the Weinhauser Church (house numbers 123 and 125). At the end, Gentzgasse passes under the bridge of the Vorortelinie and finally joins Gersthofer Straße at an oblique intersection.
