Johannes-Krawarik-Gasse in Ottakring leads to a spacious square with a suburban feel. The square is crossed by tram line 44, which also has a stop there. To the south, the square is bordered by the parish church of Alt-Ottakring, and to the north by the striking ensemble of buildings that make up the Heurigen 10er Marie, which is now a listed building.
