Klosterneuburger Straße is located in Vienna’s 20th district. It begins at the roundabout on Gaußplatz, close to the Augarten, and extends all the way to the Brigittenauer Lände. Along its considerable length, it also passes the Brigittenauer Bad and runs in close proximity to the Danube Canal. The street is used by both cars and trams. Trees line both sides, and numerous parking spaces are available. Many shops, restaurants, and outdoor dining areas can be found along the street. Architecturally, Klosterneuburger Straße features numerous buildings from the Gründerzeit period as well as from the early 20th century. These are complemented by occasional modern buildings and newer developments.
