The Landstraßer Hauptstraße in Vienna’s 3rd district is a long and lively shopping street located in close proximity to Stadtpark. It stretches from Landstraßer Gürtel past the Rochusmarkt and the shopping center WIEN MITTE The Mall all the way to Stubenbrücke. Along its entire length, numerous shops, cafés, restaurants, and service businesses line the street. Architecturally, the street is characterized primarily by historic buildings, including many late-19th-century Gründerzeit houses, which give it a distinctly traditional Viennese appearance. As an important traffic artery, the street is quite busy, offers some parking spaces, and is lined with trees in certain sections. In some areas, tram tracks also run along the street.
