The Old Danube is located in the 21st and 22nd districts, just a few minutes by subway from the city center. As a standing body of water, it covers an area of 1.6 square kilometers, with numerous bathing jetties, meadows with trees, and public bathing areas. Electric and pedal boats, sailboats, canoes, and kayaks are available for rent. Stand-up paddleboarding is also possible. From the water, there is a panoramic view of the modern skyline of the Danube plateau. The promenade is lined with bike paths and footpaths.
