The Vorgartenmarkt, which has been in existence since 1912, was completely rebuilt in 1961. The architectural design at that time gave rise to the characteristic rows of shops, which allow visitors to stroll through the market as if it were a bazaar. A complete renovation of the infrastructure was completed in 2012.
