The Donau City was built in the 1970s alongside the Danube River and the Reichsbrücke as well as the Vienna International Centre, one of the UN main headquarters. The Donau City is characterized by residential towers, hotels, office buildings, Vienna's biggest event center as well as the remarkable Donaucity Church built in 2000 and the DC Tower, Austria’s tallest building (250 meters).
