Kongreßpark, 1160
Location number: 1160011
The park covers an area of around 51,840 square meters and dates back to 1928. Kongreßpark has ball courts for soccer, basketball, and boccia, as well as table tennis tables. There are also several children's playgrounds with swings, slides, climbing frames, sandpits, play animals, and a slackline. There is a water feature in front of the listed milk bar. Large ornamental fruit plantings in Congress Park were the first to deliberately use the effect of flower colors as a design element. Japanese cherry, almond, peach, and apricot trees were planted. The Kongreßpark is home to the artwork “Die Unbesiegbaren” (The Invincibles) by Feodorowna Ries from 1928. The park was named in memory of the Congress of Vienna in 1814 and 1815. Filming permits can only be applied via the Vienna Film Commission's application tool.
