What needs to be considered regarding the drone's takeoff and landing locations?
Depending on the take-off and landing locations of the drone, permission to fly must be obtained from the respective landowners. If the take-off and landing locations are on land owned by the City of Vienna, a filming permit must be applied for via the Vienna Film Commission. If the land is owned by the federal government or private individuals, the respective responsible persons must be contacted.
What do I need to bear in mind if I want to take off or land my drone from a public traffic area?
In this case, you must obtain the relevant permit from the City of Vienna - Traffic Organization and Technical Traffic Matters (MA 46).
